Prague is considered one of the most beautiful capitals in all of Europe. The tour includes a visit to Hradcany Castle and the gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, the Romanesque Basilica of St. George and the ÔLesser TownÕ (Malta Strana) with winding streets of small taverns and old houses. Budapest is the most cosmopolitan city, called the" Queen of the Danube,Ó The ancient city, Buda, on the right bank of the Danube and the modern city, Pest, is on the left bank, are connected by a series of seven bridges. Enjoy seeing ÔHero Square, with its ornate statues. See the remains of Buda Castle, FishermenÕs Bastion, and the scenic Gellert Hill, with panoramic views of the entire city.               

The great music city, Vienna, offers the famous drive along the Ringstrasse Blvd. lined with landmarks include Emperor Franz JosefÕs Hofburg Palace, the Burg Theater and the State Opera House. See the Votive Church, built in 1856 and the visit the famous historic Schoenbrunn Palace with its 1400 rooms, halls and a small zoo, a fine museum of imperial coaches and carriages, a theater and lovely formal gardens.

The highlight of the trip, Oberammergau and its Passion Play keep the 377-year old promise the villagers made presenting the Passion Week of ChristÕs life. The play is traced to 1633 when the Black Plague swept through Europe. The people took a solemn oath that GodÕs sparing of their little town from The Plague will assure the day-long play every 10 years. The open-air stage and covered theater shows the dramatic backdrop of the towering Alps.

Our tour concludes in the capital city of Bavaria, Munich, with visits to Marienplatz, MunichÕs historic tow square; the Nyphenburg, the forma royal residence and Odeon Square with its beautiful Theatiner Church.
